An automation tool for product managers

Designer on a four-person team. Designing the agentic surfaces, and an honest take on the AI-native handoff.

Samepage Daily Signal feed: a left rail with Ask AI, Daily Signal, and Integrations; a date column showing Today, Monday, 16 Feb 2026; and a vertical stream of signal cards. The top card is a purple-highlighted Summary spanning 16 signals across 23 data sources. Below it, two signal cards — Overdue session notes summarizing recent meeting follow-ups, and Closed PRs this week summarizing engineering activity across two repositories.

Summary

Samepage is an automation tool for product managers. Signals automatically surface the information and insights that matter most across all of their tools and the web, in one place.

I've owned product design at Samepage for the past year. Daily signals, the build-a-signal surface, onboarding, and the design system foundations. The work spans the agentic patterns at the core of the product and the foundational system around them.

I also tried something that didn't work as cleanly as I hoped: designing directly in production code and handing off production-level code to engineering. We've since corrected the workflow. Naming where the AI-native handoff actually works — and where it doesn't — is part of the case study.
